Scan the listings in Writers’ Markets or Writers’ Weekly and you’ll see what I mean. But no matter how eager an editor might be, she’ll reject poor-quality submissions.
Sell your writing. Get paid. You don’t have to rely on freebies to create a clip file and enhance your personal brand if you have skill and pay attention to detail.
